How to find us:

The School Site

The school site is located on both sides of Church Road in North Ferriby, with buildings on each side. The Key Stage 1 Building, for children aged 4 to 7 years, is to the east of Church Road, and the Key Stage 2 children, aged 8 to 11 years, are based in the building to the west of Church Road. Both sites have extensive play areas including playgrounds and playing fields.

Church - School Links
Our school is a Voluntary Controlled Church of England school with history going back to the 18th Century. Today the Church foundation is highly valued by the community and seen as extremely significant to All Saints church’s role and mission in North Ferriby.

The Vicar is involved in regular assemblies, supporting the RE curriculum and has a pastoral role with staff & children. After school & lunchtime Christian groups (All Stars and Supa Stars) are run weekly by church volunteers and staff.

The All Saints’ North Ferriby church family is strongly committed to the school and see the partnership of church and school as key to the development of community cohesion and the promotion of Christian values in the village. The foundation governors and others are very keen to build upon the legacy of the current head teacher’s clear Christian commitment.

The Governing Body has three Foundation Governors nominated by the Parochial Church Council of All Saints Church.

School Meals

The school kitchen continues to provide a healthy and nourishing menu of lunches every day. We try to celebrate key dates and festivals with appropriately exciting additions to the menu. In the past this has included a “Burns” meal with bagpiper, Irish Stew in St Patrick’s Day, and leeks from the school garden on St David’s Day.

The latest menu is available from the school office or here on the website.

School Safety Zone

Church Road, which runs between the two school sites, poses a number of hazards for children. As a result of this, a “School Safety Zone” has been established. The zone covers the area from North of the school entrance to South of the village library. The zone is clearly marked and is identified by road signs and markings. Within the zone there is a speed limit of 20mph at all times. The yellow zig-zag markings and double yellow lines identify areas where there is no parking or dropping off at any time.

We ask anyone who delivers and picks up children by car to park sensibly, and observe the restrictions of the School Safety Zone.

School Uniform

Children wear the school colours, which are red and grey. The uniform gives children a feeling of identity and helps towards developing a sense of unity within the school. For full details of the preferred school wear click the link below.

All items can be purchased from the school office.

Holidays in Term Time

The school strongly encourages parents and carers not to arrange holidays during the school term. Where this is unavoidable, they are asked to complete a planned absence form and submit it to the school giving at least 5 days notice.
