Welcome from the Chair of Governors

A very warm welcome to North Ferriby CE Primary School!

Our school is at the heart of our beautiful and popular East Yorkshire village and has wonderful children, a talented staff team, aspirant and committed stakeholders and well-resourced buildings set in attractive grounds. We are a school renowned for its caring and welcoming ethos, ‘a Christian school with children at its heart’, which reflects our values of friendship, forgiveness, trust, service and creativity. Our vision and values have been developed by our school community as together we aim to prepare pupils for their futures as healthy and safe, thoughtful, enterprising and creative members of society.

Our school is a Church of England school, controlled by the East Riding Local Council, with its roots in the village going back to the 1700s. The All Saints’ church family is strongly committed to the school and see the partnership as key to the development of respectful and fruitful community networks. Church members give support as volunteers and governors, and enjoy regular shared events and projects throughout the year.

I hope you can get a taste from our website of some of what makes Ferriby school so special!
