Collective Worship

Welcome to our Collective Worship pages.  Here you will find out details of the acts of CollectiveWorship that we hold at our school.

Our acts of worship are carried out by a wide variety of members of our school community including children, staff, visitors and clergy.  Our 'Sing and Service' is held once a fortnight and each class takes a turn to invite their parents to join us in worship.  Throughout the year classes also plan and deliver collective worship and again invite their parents to come and watch.

[Dates for these and other school events can be found on the calendar at the bottom of this page]

Sing and Service:

On Thursdays throughout the year the Reverend Brailsford visits our school to deliver 'Sing and Service'.  Each class takes it in turns to help lead the service by choosing the hymns, leading prayers and helping to reenact bible stories.  Parents and members of the community are invited to join us.

Harvest Festival:

Every year one of our classes plans and delivers a Harvest festival service which is held in All Saints Church, North Ferriby.  Parents and all members of the community are welcome.

Christingle Service:

Every year the school leads a Christingle Service at the church.  Parents and all members of the community are welcome.  The service is held on the morning of the last Tuesday of the Autumn term.

Easter Service:

At Easter one of our classes plans and delivers an Easter Service which is held in All Saints Church, North Ferriby.  Parents and all members of the community are welcome.  This service is usually held on the Thursday of the last week before the Easter holiday.
